As predicted one needs discipline to have a successful blog. I have not posted anything for over a week hence the title! However it does not mean it was an uneventful week as it involved a planting job for a regular customer, visiting a vintage fair ( more on that later), supplying flowers for a friends daughters wedding and wedding consultations.
My intension was to just write snipets when the need arose - a stunning flower I just couldn't resist sharing, a recent wedding and anything else of intereset. But that means always having the camera (and cable) to hand and time! I have been trying to walk the dog(no repretable florist is without one, although ours, a cocker spaniel tends to stay at home or goes out in the van as she is too disruptive in the shop as she has a liking for raffia and wants to be everyones friend)before work so something has to give.
So back to the Vintage Fair, it was in Tunbridge Wells organised by Love Is boutique at Salomons and brought together an 'eclectic' mix of vintage clothing, music, make up, cakes, fabric - heres a sample from Tizzy's
There were some great prints and I bumped into Sue Baxter, owner of Vintage Mabels formerly of Mayfield, hence the connection and now attending numerous fairs all over the South East.
And now its time to start thinking about Mother's Day and our forth coming weddings. I will try and keep you posted!
